Worldbuilding and campaign management for anyone on any device
The alpha is free. No card needed.
- Targeting WCAG 2.2 AA, including keyboard and screen reader support.
- Every feature designed for phone, tablet, and desktop from day one.
Welcome to your Sojourns studio!
Thanks for checking out Sojourns. My goal is to build a TTRPG wiki where every feature works just as well across all device types and assistive technologies.
I want Sojourns to feel modern and lightweight with an unopinionated UX that mostly stays out of your way. The editor is inspired by Obsidian (markdown, backlinks, etc.), and the content organization approach is inspired by OneNote (every page can be a folder and vice versa).
Sojourns started as a passion project of my own in late 2024. Since then, I've used it in my own campaigns, and I've torn it down and started fresh a few times. Now, with some great lessons learned over those couple years, I'm so excited to share it with the broader TTRPG community as I build out the first public-facing version.
Sojourns is in its alpha phase. Basic, core functionality is in place, but there is still much to come. I'm taking the build-in-public approach, so I welcome you to make an account, follow along on Bluesky, and chime in on Discord! Everyone is welcome.
The Sojourns Roadmap
-
Alpha Current
Focus: Worldbuilding Functionality
- Editor: Continue to add rich functionality to the editor. The goal is approximate feature parity with Obsidian, plus Sojourns-specific functionality. Advanced image support, slash commands, hotkey shortcuts, etc.
- Content Management: Page and project templates, markdown export and import, tags, pins, etc.
Heads up: during the alpha, the UI and UX might change significantly, but your content (and the data model behind it) is stable.

Beta Mid 2027
Focus: Collaboration & Campaign Management
- Collaboration: Permissions, sharing, multi-user content editing, etc.
- Campaign Management: Scheduling, campaign-scoped editing, etc. If you have ideas related to what you would like out of a campaign manager like this, I would love to hear them.
- Stretch Goal: Developer API
-
v1.0 TBD
Focus: Community & Long Term Support
I envision a community hub where users can share and publish their content, organize games, and more.
FAQ
Is Sojourns really free?
The alpha is and will remain free, no questions asked! All functionality will be available, no ads, and no “pro” features gated behind a paywall. I hate ads and paywalls.
If enough users join, I might have to consider implementing some kind of storage cap. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
I'll be making a Ko-fi pretty soon for donations, but they will be completely optional and just meant to help keep the server lights on.
I found a bug! Or, I have an idea! Who do I tell?
I'd love it if you joined the Discord and told me there. If you don't want to do that, I'll soon be making a support email address visible to logged-in users which you can send a bug report / feature idea to.
Does Sojourns own my content?
No way. I'll have an official “legalese” policy / statement on this soon, but the gist of it is your content is yours and will remain yours.
Does Sojourns have any AI features?
No.
Will it?
I'm not planning on it.
I am open to ideas about “read-only” AI functionality in the future. Something like a natural-language search tool, or writing prompts based on your content.
But, I would want to hear from the Sojourns community before even considering anything like that, and I will never feed your content to an LLM unless you manually opt-in.
